As the Company Director and an experienced Chartered Forester with a degree in Applied Ecology and Pests & Diseases, Karen is responsible for providing the management and consultancy services. This unusually brings together practical and technical woodland management with substantial agricultural experience, academic research, industry and government policy expertise.

Her national and international expertise in the conservation, breeding and biodiversity research of broadleaf tree species, particularly in relation to species diversity, improvement, utilisation, adaptability and climate change is widely recognised by industry and research. Her experience in characterising and quantifying the woodland resource and engaging individuals throughout the supply chain is essential in delivering sustainable woodland management.
